Welcome to the Ramblers Bradford group

Summer walk advice and information

All walks are led by experienced volunteer members of the Ramblers.

The walks are circular, generally between 3 and 5 miles in length and are classified as leisurely/moderate according to the Ramblers scale. Most include some uphill, stiles and rough ground. They are suitable for anyone of reasonable fitness.

NON-MEMBERS are welcome on all walks. However, if you enjoy the walks it would be appreciated if you showed your support by joining the Ramblers, and helping them to continue their work.

New leaders and helpers always welcome. Please note leaders must be Ramblers members, for insurance purposes.

Whilst every care is taken on these walks, please remember that everyone taking part does so at their own risk.

When taking part in any walk please consider others as well as your own enjoyment –

  • Park cars considerately and safely.
  • Do not walk ahead of your leader.
  • Always follow the country and highway codes.
  • Walk in SINGLE FILE when on roads.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome, but MUST be kept on a lead AT ALL TIMES. They are the owner's responsibility. Please follow any instructions given by leaders and organisers regarding your dog, particularly relating to livestock.
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
